Wildcats Lose to PSU New Kensington in Extra Innings Twice

MCKEESPORT, PA – The Pennsylvania College of Technology lost in extra innings twice to Penn State New Kensington Sunday. The Wildcats were defeated 6-3 and 4-3 in the doubleheader, both in eight innings. Sophomore Lacy Lose (Avis) pitched both games for the Wildcats totaling 14 strikeouts. Freshman Britni Fennell (Conyngham) led the with two RBI. The losses drop the team to 4-22 overall and 3-11 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference. LOCK HAVEN, PA – Junior Nick Cummings (Akron, N.Y./Akron) of the Lock Haven University baseball team has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West Pitcher of the Week. Cummings put together a tremendous performance in his lone appearance of the week against PSAC West rival Slippery Rock.
