Wildcats Lose to PSU New Kensington in Extra Innings Twice

MCKEESPORT, PA – The Pennsylvania College of Technology lost in extra innings twice to Penn State New Kensington Sunday. The Wildcats were defeated 6-3 and 4-3 in the doubleheader, both in eight innings. Sophomore Lacy Lose (Avis) pitched both games for the Wildcats totaling 14 strikeouts. Freshman Britni Fennell (Conyngham) led the with two RBI. The losses drop the team to 4-22 overall and 3-11 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference. WILLIAMSPORT, PA – Senior Skylar Gingrich (Lititz) racked up four hits, three RBI and two runs to lead the Pennsylvania College of Technology baseball team as it split a conference doubleheader with Penn State Beaver Sunday. The Wildcats took game one 6-4 with sophomore Josh Longsderff (Columbia) getting the complete game win. Lady Wildcats Softball Team Loses Doubleheader

WILLIAMSPORT, PA – The Pennsylvania College of Technology softball team lost 13-0 and 3-0 to Penn State Beaver Sunday. Beaver pitcher Korey Freyermuth recorded both wins, pitching a five-inning no-hitter in game two and giving up only two hits total in both games. Freshmen Britni Fennell (Conyngham) and Cora Bova (Port Allegany) recorded the only hits for the Wildcats. They now fall to 1-15 overall and 0-6 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference.
