GREENVILLE, PA – The third week of the high school football season did not disappoint fans and communities across District 10. Only ten teams remain unbeaten. GREENVILLE, PA – As the headline states, blowouts and nailbiters were two main ingredients in the Week 2 High School football season across Northwestern PA. From Hickory’s 70-0 blowout over Mercer to Conneaut, PA’s 34-33 win over DuBois; everything else fell in between. Showdowns in PIAA District X Baseball playoff action will resume on Thursday, Friday and Monday, throughout the region. In Class A, Mercer and West Middlesex will battle in one of the two semifinal games; meanwhile, Eisenhower and Rocky Grove square off in the other semifinal. Games will feature the Corry (PA) Beavers and the combined Clymer Central (NY) and Sherman Central (NY) high schools.
