LOCK HAVEN, PA – Junior Nick Cummings (Akron, N.Y./Akron) of the Lock Haven University baseball team has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West Pitcher of the Week. Cummings put together a tremendous performance in his lone appearance of the week against PSAC West rival Slippery Rock. Cummings started the final game of the four game series, and threw a gem for The Haven, securing the weekend series for LHU. Lock Haven University Wrestlers Take 6th Place at EWL Championships

CLARION, Pa. – Senior Seth Creasy (Mercer, Pa./Mercer) moved up a weight class and finished third to qualify for the 2012 NCAA National Championships as he led the Lock Haven University wrestling team at the Eastern Wrestling League (EWL) Championships. True-freshman Bobby Rehm (Lancaster, Pa./Penn Manor) also took third to help the Bald Eagles take sixth overall at the 37th edition of the EWL Championships. LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (20-9) looked to spark up a huge comeback for the second straight night, but it wasn’t to be as the Lady Eagles lost 3-1 (26-24, 25-22, 19-25 & 25-22) to rival California (Pa.) University (31-4) in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship match.
