RICHMOND, VA – The Lock Haven University men’s and women’s outdoor track & field teams wrapped up competition today at Richmond University’s Fred Hardy Invite. Highlighting today’s competition was the Bald Eagles 2-3 finish in the men’s 400 meter dash. Sean Harper (Lumberton, N.J./Rancocas Valley) was out leaned at the line and finished second with a time of 48.14. Steve Roberts (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown) was third with a mark of 48.87. HAMBURG, NY – Penn State – Altoona softball’s 17-0 and 23-5 victories over Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference opponent Hilbert College on Saturday were impressive, but they were upstaged by perfection. In game one of the doubleheader, junior pitcher Jackie Smith (Hollidaysburg, PA/Hollidaysburg) threw a perfect game. She pitched five innings, allowing no runs, hits, or walks while striking out seven of the 15 batters she faced. CLARION, Pa. – Senior Seth Creasy (Mercer, Pa./Mercer) moved up a weight class and finished third to qualify for the 2012 NCAA National Championships as he led the Lock Haven University wrestling team at the Eastern Wrestling League (EWL) Championships.
