FRASER, MI – The 4:00pm kickoff for the Erie Explosion vs. Detroit Thunder indoor football game will not be played due to the field turf not being laid out in time.
As a result, the game broadcast will not be on at 3:45pm; but, the game will result in a forfeit victory for the Explosion, by the score of 2-0.
Explosion players and coaches were disappointed at their arrival at the beautiful Fraser Hockeyland Arena. That facility seats approximately 3500 seats and has five (5) regulation hockey rinks within the facility and a adjacent soccer facility attached to the hockey rinks.
