GROVE CITY, PA – Led by a first-place finish from senior Monica Patrick, the Allegheny women’s cross country team breezed to victory at the season-opening Grove City College Kickoff Invitational. EDINBORO, PA – The Edinboro University women’s soccer team used two first-half goals and a 25-4 advantage in shots Thursday evening to fuel a 2-1 season-opening PSAC win against Clarion. The Fighting Scots open 2016 with a 1-0-0 overall and PSAC mark, while the Golden Eagles stand at 0-1-0 in both categories.The win extends Edinboro’s 16-year undefeated streak versus Clarion, where they hold an 18-0-3 all-time series lead.
