ERIE, PA – The Erie Explosion 2015 season can’t come to an end soon enough.
The back – to – back champions of the CIFL (Continental Indoor Football League) left that league to face stiffer competition and did they find it, when they joined the Professional Indoor Football League.
Tonight, they face the defending PIFL champions in the Nashville Venom.
The 2015 season has been a trying one for Head Coach Shawn Liotta and staff. Facing numerous injuries to top players; including one to a retirement from a defensive leader due to an injury; and new players trying to “jell together” to offset the often ever – changing roster due to inadequate play of others.
One more game remains after the Nashville game, when the Explosion hit the road to Richmond.
