LORETTO, PA – Anthony Abeid earned Rookie of the Week honors Thursday from the Metropolitan New York Football Writers Association. The Metropolitan New York Football Writers Association selects the top players each week from the states of Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island. Abeid picked up the award after producing 136 all-purpose yards and the lone touchdown in SFU’s victory against in-state conference rival Robert Morris. LOCK HAVEN, PA – Sport alignments and scheduling concepts coinciding with Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference expansion were approved by athletics administrators during their meeting Wednesday.  The alignments will be implemented for the first time during the 2013-14 academic year when new members University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown and Seton Hill University begin league play.
