LEWISBURG, PA – Mike Nicholson won the 200-yard breaststroke and Trevor Reitz claimed the 100 freestyle Sunday at Kinney Natatorium as the Bison men’s swimming and diving team wrapped up the three-day Bucknell Invitational in third place. Nicholson had a standout meet as he collected four top-three showings during the course of the weekend. ERIE, PA – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (26-10) dropped a five-set thriller tonight to host Gannon University (28-5) in the PSAC Championship match at Gannon’s Hammermill Center. Lock Haven took the first two sets of the match 25-20 and 25-20, but Gannon answered to take the last three sets 25-16, 25-16 and 15-8. LEXINGTON, KY – All four competing Big Ten teams placed in the top 25 at the NCAA Women’s Cross Country Championships on Saturday, bringing the 2012 season to a close. Michigan took fifth, Penn State finished 14th, Michigan State placed 16th and Minnesota landed 22nd. Iowa’s Mareike Schrulle earned the Big Ten’s top finish, taking seventh place en route to All-America honors.
