SPARKILL, NY – The Lock Haven University men’s soccer team (5-8-1) rallied midway through the second half for a pair of goals, but the Bald Eagles fell to host Saint Thomas Aquinas (4-5-3) 3-2 today in non-conference action.
The Bald Eagles, who were playing for the second time in as many days trailed 3-0, but fought back.
Midway through the second half, Lock Haven got a pair of quick strikes from Trent Burris (McAlisterville, Pa./East Juniata) and Bobby Mohr (Erie, Pa./Cathedral Prep) to make it 3-2.
The Haven rally ended there as STA earned the three points at home.
Lock Haven returns to action on Wednesday, October 17 at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown (2 p.m.).
