MAHONING VALLEY, OH – The Crosscutters used a pair of three-run innings in the 2nd & 3rd innings to propel themselves to a win on the road. Dylans Cozen (3) and Logan Pierce (2) homered for the Cutters in the win.
Andrew Pullin went 3-6 with 2 RBI including a 1st inning triple that extended his hitting streak to six games. Julio Reyes, in his first start of the 2013 season, struck out six while not allowing a base runner in four innings of work.
Chris Nichols improves to 1-0 with the win in his 2013 Crosscutters debut. Rob Whitenack falls to 1-2 with the loss for the Scrappers.
