WILLIAMSPORT, PA – The Federal Hockey League and its member teams are proud to announce the special guest for the 2013 FHL All-Star Game will be none other than Paul D’Amato, also known as, Tim “Dr. Hook” McCracken from the movie Slap Shot. Paul has had a very distinguished career.
In addition to Slap Shot where he had the chance to work with Paul Newman, he has also appeared in such great movies as Heaven Can Wait, The Deer Hunter and Heaven’s Gate just to name a few.
His television credits are impressive also. He has been seen in Law & Order, Law & Order: Criminal Intent and The Six Million Dollar Man. Paul will be the guest speaker at the All-Star Luncheon, to be held in the ballroom of the elegant Genetti Hotel in downtown Williamsport, and will be at the game to sign Autographs.
He will also be bringing an autographed “Syracuse Bulldogs Jersey” to be raffled off. Raffle tickets will be available at the luncheon, skills competition and at the game. The winner need not be present to win. Tickets are $2 each, 3 for $5 or 10 for $10. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to win an autographed jersey by Tim “DR HOOK” McCracken.
