GREENVILLE, PA – Thiel senior catcher Danielle Massengill (North Bend, Wash./Mt. Si) was named the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Hitter of the Week Monday, as selected by the conference office. Massengill tallied 12 hits in 19 at-bats last week for a .632 average, helping the Tomcats conclude their 2015 season with pair of PAC doubleheader sweeps. ERIE, PA – Eight members of the Mercyhurst University wrestling team were named to the 2014-15 Division II All-Academic Wrestling Team as selected by the NCAA Division II Wrestling Coaches Association. Additionally, the Lakers finished tenth in the country in top team GPA. As a team, Mercyhurst posted a team GPA of 3.223 with the University of Indianapolis claiming the Academic National Championship with a 3.482.
