ERIE, PA – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (26-10) dropped a five-set thriller tonight to host Gannon University (28-5) in the PSAC Championship match at Gannon’s Hammermill Center. Lock Haven took the first two sets of the match 25-20 and 25-20, but Gannon answered to take the last three sets 25-16, 25-16 and 15-8. LEXINGTON, KY – All four competing Big Ten teams placed in the top 25 at the NCAA Women’s Cross Country Championships on Saturday, bringing the 2012 season to a close. Michigan took fifth, Penn State finished 14th, Michigan State placed 16th and Minnesota landed 22nd. JOPLIN, MO – Alex Monroe (Lewistown, Pa./Indian Valley) finished fifth overall leading the Lock Haven University men’s cross country team today at the 2012 NCAA Division II National Championships.
