Marion, OH – The Erie Explosion will go into the 2013 Continental Indoor Football League season opener on the road, as they face the Marion Blue Racers.
Both teams played in the Ultimate Indoor Football League last season, in which the Explosion lost to the Blue Racers in the first round of the playoffs.
However, Head Coach Shawn Liotta has gotten the bulk of his 2012 team back and tweaked a few positions for the ultimate top talent available.
The game will be broadcast on The Mid State Sports Network beginning at 6:45 pm with Sam Jordan and Shawn Casey, LIVE from Veterans Memorial Arena in Marion, Ohio; which is located North of Columbus.
