WILLIAMSPORT, PA – Senior forward Kierstin Steer (South Williamsport) has been named the Penn State University Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the period ending November 25.
Steer scored 13 points against Alfred University in the team’s only game of the week taking her over the 1,000 point career mark. By doing so, she became the first Penn College women’s basketball player in history to reach the milestone.
So far this season Steer is averaging 10 points a game ranking her third on the team. In her career, she has been named PSUAC All-Conference three times.
Next up, Steer and the Wildcats host Penn State Hazleton on Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 6 p.m.
