JOPLIN, MO – Alex Monroe (Lewistown, Pa./Indian Valley) finished fifth overall leading the Lock Haven University men’s cross country team today at the 2012 NCAA Division II National Championships. Monroe also became the first Bald Eagle to become a three-time cross country All-American. The fifth-place finish is the highest Haven finish since Ryan Blood was fourth in 2006. WILLIAMSPORT, PA – The Pennsylvania College of Technology wrestling team notched two wins Saturday as it hosted a Penn State University Athletic Conference tri-match. LOCK HAVEN, PA – The Lock Haven University women’s basketball team (1-1, 1-0 PSAC) notched its first win of the season today in the 2012 home opener, as the Lady Eagles downed Mansfield University (0-1, 0-1 PSAC) 82-44. BUFFALO, N.Y. – Alyssa Dunn (Mason, Ohio/Seven Hills School) recorded a career-best 22 points, sparking Bucknell women’s basketball to a 59-50 win over Canisius at the Keossler Athletic Center on Saturday afternoon. The victory gives head coach Aaron Roussell his first win as Bison head coach and improves Bucknell’s record to 1-3 on the year.
