LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell women’s basketball extended its overall winning streak to four games and claimed its first ever victory against Mount St. Mary’s as the Bison defeated The Mount 55-43 at Sojka Pavilion on Wednesday. Alyssa Dunn (Mason, Ohio/Seven Hills School) and Shelby Romine (Centreville, Va./Westfield) each totaled 11 points and Sheaira Jones (Cincinnati, Ohio/Colerain) grabbed a career-high 10 rebounds in the win. WILLIAMSPORT, PA – Senior forward Kierstin Steer (South Williamsport) has been named the Penn State University Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the period ending November 25. Steer scored 13 points against Alfred University in the team’s only game of the week taking her over the 1,000 point career mark.  By doing so, she became the first Penn College women’s basketball player in history to reach the milestone. WILLIAMSPORT, PA – Sophomore guard Scott Fenton (Dickson City) has been named the United States Collegiate Athletic Association and Penn State University Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the period ending November 25.  In the team’s only game against Division III Alfred University, Fenton scored a season high 27 points leading his team to its first win of the season 61-53.  This is Fenton’s first time receiving the honor this season. LOCK HAVEN, PA – Sophomore Hannah Gildea (Hollidaysburg, Pa./Hollidaysburg) scored a career-high 18 points tonight and the Lock Haven University women’s basketball team (2-1) downed visiting Notre Dame College (Ohio) (1-7), 93-57 in a non-conference matchup at Thomas Fieldhouse.
